Pi Sigma Alpha is looking for a new institutional host for the Undergraduate Journal of Politics with a three-year term beginning July 1, 2026. Hosting the journal provides a great opportunity for undergraduate students to gain valuable skills in editing, organizational communications, and project management.
Welcome to the Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics, a journal of undergraduate research in political science and government.
The editorial team from the Sigma Upsilon chapter at Elon University is thrilled to release their tenth issue: Volume XXV, No. 1, Spring 2025!
This issue features the work of three undergraduate authors:
Program Reforms for Empowering Syrian Refugees: Expanding Educational Opportunities and Career Development in Lebanon, Türkiye, and Jordan
Megan Novak, Emmanuel College
The 2023 Argentine Presidential Election: Understanding the Victory of Javier Milei via Linkage Mechanisms
Ty Gribble, University of Texas at Austin
The Impact of Migrant Concentration and Economic Competition on Attitudes Around Redistribution for Migrants: Venezuelan and Spanish Immigrants in Colombia and Brazil
Maria Zambrano Davila, University of Richmond
The Journal welcomes submissions from undergraduates of any class or major; submissions from Pi Sigma Alpha members are especially encouraged. The Editorial Board routinely receives honors theses, senior seminar projects, capstone projects, and other original research papers produced in or out of class.
