Lifetime Membership
Pi Sigma Alpha members only pay a one-time fee to join. The $35 membership fee is one of the lowest of any honors society in the country.
Financial Assistance & Awards
Pi Sigma Alpha provides funding to members and chapters through scholarships for graduate school and internships in Washington, DC, best paper and thesis awards, as well as chapter activity grants.
Start as a GS-7 Federal Employee
According to the US Office of Personnel Management, "membership in a national honor society meets one of the requirements for entrance at the GS-7 level in numerous professional and technical occupations in the Federal service." Whereas, college graduates without similar experiences can expect to start at the GS-5 level.
Participation in Student Conference
Pi Sigma Alpha undergraduate members are eligible to present their research at the annual Pi Sigma Alpha National Student Research Conference, which connects students, faculty, and career professionals from around the country.

Pi Sigma Alpha chapters give back to their campuses and communities through a range of sponsored events and volunteer activities. In addition, many chapters promote civic engagement through registration and Get-Out-the-Vote drives.

Pi Sigma Alpha student members now have access to join APSA at a discounted rate of $26.
