Proposal and Eligibility Details

All Pi Sigma Alpha members who are current undergraduates or master’s students are eligible to submit a proposal for a paper presentation. Each proposal should consist of a 250-word abstract and title.

The Program Committee is interested in all proposals focused on an issue relevant to political science. Selected proposals are often grouped into substantive themes common to political science including American politics, international relations and comparative politics, and political theory; however, we are also particularly interested in proposals exploring timely political issues related to race, ethnicity, and politics, climate change, and abortion rights.

PROPOSALS DUE: October 31, 2025

Travel Grants

Limited travel grants are available for presenters (between $150-250 per student on average). Information about applying for travel grants will be sent out along with conference acceptances.
